Job Summary

This position prepares the candidate for the Restaurant Manager role. After training, the Restaurant Manager Trainee (RMT) may manage the day-to-day operations of a designated Restaurant for up to 90 days, overseeing people, operations, and financial metrics, reporting to the Restaurant District Manager.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent guest service and coach team members
• Recruit, interview, hire, and onboard staff
• Maintain cleanliness and delegate duties
• Manage food preparation and ensure compliance with standards
• Train staff on Brand and Company standards
• Implement campaigns and conduct product training
• Ensure food safety, quality, and operational standards
• Monitor cash, sales, and inventory records
• Communicate with the district manager
• Complete administrative tasks and reports
• Ensure safety and report issues
• Manage financial and operational metrics
• Conduct team check-ins and recognize performance
• Apply progressive discipline when needed

Qualifications

• 1-2 years restaurant management experience preferred
• Proficient in Microsoft Office
• Valid Driver’s License
• Serv Safe Manager certification preferred
