Job Overview

The IHOP Restaurant Manager reports directly to the General Manager and supervises restaurant employees. The primary responsibilities include managing front and back of house operations with a focus on profitability, sales growth, and maintaining IHOP's standards of quality and service.

Responsibilities
  1. Execute annual financial, marketing, guest service, and human resource objectives according to IHOP SOP and operations plan.
  2. Develop and maintain professional relationships with employees and franchisee organization.
  3. Manage the restaurant floor, interact with guests, handle complaints professionally.
  4. Ensure compliance with SOP in recruitment, training, food safety, sanitation, and security.
  5. Supervise recruitment, hiring, training, performance appraisals, rewards, disciplinary actions, and conflict resolution.
  6. Complete reports and maintain personnel files accurately and timely.
  7. Work flexible hours including days, nights, and weekends.
