Job Summary

We are seeking a Restaurant Manager with an epic level of positive attitude, a strong work ethic, who thrives in a fast-paced team environment and has a strong desire to learn and grow.

Tender Greens delivers inspired food, friendly service, and great value in a comfortable space. As a Restaurant Manager, you are responsible for ensuring our goal of providing each guest with a truly wonderful experience, as well as assisting the Executive Chef in the overall management of daily restaurant operations and leading team members.

The Restaurant Manager is expected to be fully certified or in the process of certification for all Front of House and Back of House Team Member positions and demonstrates a long-term commitment to growth with Tender Greens.

Responsibilities
  • Leading Team Members: Guiding team members by exemplifying exceptional guest service, fostering an enthusiastic environment, ensuring adherence to policies, completing onboarding and offboarding procedures, reviewing training checklists, conducting daily line-ups, completing daily time edits, coaching, mentoring, managing relations, and ensuring safety protocols are followed.
  • Financial Management: Managing purchase trackers, ensuring operating costs align with budgets, and completing transfers in the inventory system.
  • Operational Initiatives: Handling guest complaints, supervising opening/closing, ordering supplies, submitting invoices and expense reports, managing catering orders, ensuring POS system functions, conducting safety checks, and other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  • Strong culinary experience preferred
  • Leadership skills including coaching and motivating teams
  • Culinary interest with ongoing development
  • Proficiency in MS Office and Google Docs
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to delegate tasks and work in a fast-paced environment
  • Current Food Safety Manager certification
Physical and Environmental Requirements
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
  • Repetitive motions, bending, stooping, reaching, standing, and walking for long periods
  • Work in hot kitchen environments, with visual, speech, and hearing communication capabilities
  • Availability to work nights and weekends

Pay rate for this position is $29 - $33/hour + bonus
