Compensation Range: $63,000 - $68,000/Annually

PURPOSE

The Restaurant Manager fosters a culture of excellence, refinement, and impeccable service within elevated dining establishments. They contribute to the establishment's reputation through strategic training and continuous improvement, ensuring it remains a sought-after destination for elevated dining experiences.

Duties & Responsibilities

Training Program Facilitator & Continuous Training:

  • Facilitates Signature brands training programs tailored to the brands' specific needs, including customer service, etiquette, and upscale presentation, with support from HQ Training and Development.
  • Implements and leads ongoing training sessions on menu changes, new offerings, and service standards.

Onboarding & Performance Monitoring

  • Supports onboarding for new hires, ensuring understanding of culture, service standards, and protocols.
  • Establishes methods for monitoring staff performance, providing constructive feedback.

Food And Beverage Menu Knowledge & Service Standards

  • In-depth knowledge of menu items, ingredients, and pairings.
  • Develops training modules to enhance staff knowledge and communication of service standards.
  • Trains staff on wine, spirits, and cocktail service, emphasizing pairing and protocols.

Customer Interaction & Upselling Techniques

  • Trains staff on customer interaction, professionalism, and creating personalized experiences.
  • Supports upselling techniques to confidently recommend premium items.

Etiquette And Protocol

  • Provides guidance on fine dining etiquette and protocols.

Compliance And Standards

  • Ensures staff compliance with health, safety, and alcohol service laws.
  • Performs additional tasks as assigned.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Collaborates with HQ Training, kitchen staff, sommeliers, and other departments.
  • Adapts training methods based on changes in menu or industry trends.
  • Contributes strategic thinking for overall success.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • 3 years’ supervisory experience in high-volume fine dining restaurants.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Valid Driver’s License and clean record.
  • Proof of work eligibility in the U.S.
  • 21+ years of age.

WORKING CONDITIONS

Indoor and outdoor work, exposure to varying environments, fast-paced setting, varied shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays.

Physical Requirements

Ability to walk, stand, lift up to 50 lbs., and perform physical tasks required for the role.
