Job description

Your Role at Raising Cane’s:

The Restaurant Manager supports the Restaurant Leader in daily restaurant operations, upholding Raising Cane’s standards and culture in shift management responsibilities.

The physical work environment involves working in a fast-paced kitchen, interacting with customers, and includes physical activities such as walking, standing, and lifting. It requires working both indoors and outdoors in varied temperatures, handling food products and allergens, using industrial equipment and cleaning products, and wearing personal protective equipment.

Your Impact and Responsibilities:
Purpose of the position:
  • Ensure operations meet Raising Cane’s standards during a shift
  • Act as manager on duty, opening and closing the restaurant
  • Manage cash handling and ensure accountability
General responsibilities:
  • Enforce policies and standards
  • Manage shift operations, safety, and standards
  • Use tools, logs, and forms for shift documentation and corrective actions
  • Direct crewmembers during shifts
  • Provide excellent customer service
  • Implement reward and recognition programs
  • Authorize employee functions requiring approval
  • Maintain restaurant cleanliness and facility functionality
  • Perform additional duties as assigned
Requirements for success:
  • Detail-oriented, organized, and capable of managing multiple priorities
  • Self-driven, flexible, energetic, with strong communication skills
  • Effective both independently and in teams
  • Problem recognition, goal setting, and execution skills
  • Knowledge in staffing, scheduling, people, and cost management
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and adaptability to new systems
  • Availability for various shifts, including weekends and travel
  • At least 1 year of restaurant or retail management experience
  • Must be 18+, high school diploma or equivalent (some college preferred)
