Position Summary:

The Restaurant Food & Beverage Manager is responsible for leading the food and beverage service staff at the hotel restaurant, and assisting in the leadership of all hotel facilities including Restaurant, F&B Outlets, Banquets, In-Room Dining, and Special Events. The role focuses on ensuring high-quality service, maintaining a safe and clean environment, and meeting financial goals.

Essential Job Functions:
  1. Manage service in the restaurant and all F&B areas, ensuring guest satisfaction.
  2. Oversee restaurant operations, including in-room dining, banquets, and special events.
  3. Ensure staff are in proper uniform and adhere to appearance standards.
  4. Hire, train, and manage staff, including scheduling and performance evaluations.
  5. Coordinate with kitchen and service staff regarding reservations and events.
  6. Conduct staff meetings and supervise performance and discipline.
  7. Perform rounds to ensure guest needs are met and outlets are secure.
  8. Handle employee relations and review incidents with senior management.
  9. Control costs through purchasing, profit/loss monitoring, and labor management.
  10. Maintain accurate records and reports.
  11. Maximize sales through marketing, promotions, and staff training on up-selling.
  12. Ensure safety, sanitation, and compliance with alcohol policies.
  13. Address guest inquiries and feedback to improve service.
  14. Collaborate with the Executive Chef on menu creation and pricing.
  15. Coordinate with other departments for seamless operations.
  16. Ensure appropriate staffing levels for all outlets and events.
Additional Duties & Responsibilities:
  1. Fill in as a server, host, bartender, etc., during peak times or staff shortages.
  2. Participate in weekly leadership meetings.
  3. Support hotel initiatives and collaborate across departments.
  4. Stay informed about industry trends.
Experience:

Minimum 2 years in luxury hotels, restaurant management, or F&B management.

Hours Required:

Flexible schedule; must work weekends and holidays.

Physical Requirements:

Ability to stand, sit, walk, bend, lift, and squat for extended periods.
