• Communicate kitchen issues with management throughout the day
• Read and write notes in English in the manager’s daily log
• Attend weekly manager’s meetings and monthly staff meetings
• Read the weekly memo
• Complete weekly/monthly employee evaluations
• Communicate with all m.o.d. when shift ends
• Provide honest reports of all events, positive and negative
• Follow policies, rules, and directions from manuals, memos, and meetings
• Attend quarterly supervisor meetings
• Hold current food management certification
• Demonstrate ownership mentality
• Be flexible with scheduling; Flanigan’s is open 365 days
• Be willing to transfer geographically
• Have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
• Schedule vacations between April and November; must be taken or forfeited
• Order supplies and formulate pars
• Have basic math skills: counting currency, making change, using a calculator
• Possess basic computer skills
• Understand and enforce health code standards
• Conduct timely interviews following Flanigan’s hiring policy
• Issue written evaluations for performance
• Have good sight, speech, hearing, taste, and smell
• Read and write English
• Stand and move at a moderate pace for up to 4 hours; work 50-55 hours/week
• Lift up to 50 lbs.
• Bend, stoop, squat, crawl as needed
• Operate kitchen equipment with coordination
• Adhere to dress and grooming standards
• Work a 5-day week with 2 consecutive days off
