About the Role

Boston Harbor City Cruises is seeking a Restaurant Manager for our operations onboard the Odyssey and Spirit of Boston in Boston, MA.

About You

This person will be adaptable, dynamic, and embody City Experiences’ RESPECT Service System.

Responsibilities
  • Manage front-of-the-house staff including recruitment, training, coaching, discipline, and retention.
  • Oversee cruise execution, ensuring adherence to procedures, safety standards, and guest satisfaction.
  • Conduct pre-cruise meetings and coordinate with other departments for special guest requests.
  • Ensure staff compliance with safety, sanitation, and alcohol service standards.
  • Handle guest service issues diplomatically and effectively.
  • Recruit, train, and schedule front-line staff; manage performance and development.
  • Develop teamwork and employee incentive programs.
Administration
  • Maintain cash control and monitor costs.
  • Manage payroll, scheduling, and compliance with health and alcohol regulations.
  • Attend meetings and operate restaurant systems.
Requirements
  • Minimum 3 years of full-service, high-volume restaurant experience.
  • At least 2 years of supervisory experience.
  • Responsible alcohol service (TIPS) and sanitation (ServSafe) certifications.
  • Strong communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  • Availability for nights, weekends, and holidays.
