Description

Denny's is seeking an experienced and dedicated Restaurant Manager to lead our team and create a welcoming environment for our guests. The Restaurant Manager oversees approximately 15-20 crew members, ensuring proper execution of restaurant operations during their shift, providing excellent guest service, and maintaining service and quality standards.

Responsibilities and Duties
  • Assist team members proactively
  • Prepare and analyze financial and operational reports to meet goals
  • Oversee shifts, ensuring brand standards and guest service excellence
  • Monitor controls to achieve profit targets
  • Develop and coach employees on standards and policies
  • Participate in hiring, onboarding, and retention efforts
  • Address employee relations and guest issues, recommending corrections
  • Support employee development through training and individual plans
  • Build community relations to increase guest counts
  • Ensure security procedures are followed
  • Maintain sanitation and cleanliness standards
  • Create a respectful environment for guests and staff
  • Ensure compliance with employment policies and regulations
  • Follow operational procedures, including cash handling and inventory management
  • Perform additional tasks as assigned
Qualifications / Requirements
  • Minimum 2 years management experience in restaurant, hospitality, or retail
  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent experience
  • Ability to work at least 50 hours per week
  • Food Safety Manager certification required
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Ability to communicate effectively in English
  • Basic math skills

  • Problem-solving skills and ability to handle high-stress situations
  • Ability to interpret financial statements
  • Capability to perform all job duties and multitask
  • Availability to work weekends, holidays, and evenings
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
