Job summary

Refuel Operating Company, LLC is seeking a Restaurant Manager to lead the assigned Fayetteville-area restaurant, driving guest satisfaction and daily operational excellence. You will own problem solving, guide team members, and ensure high standards across service, safety, and quality.

The role requires flexible evenings and weekends, strong leadership, and hands-on coaching to optimize staffing, inventory, and compliance while delivering a superior guest experience.

Qualifications

• Two years' experience managing a quick-service restaurant.
• Valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Ensure our customers have great guest experience by ensuring products are hot, fresh and delicious.
• Manage and develop employees in the restaurant and ensure they are clean and neat in appearance.
• Ensure cleanliness of the property (restrooms, floors, coolers, kitchen, front counter, back-office, dining area, fountain area, sidewalk entrance etc.).
• Ensure all employees uphold strict food safety standards.
• Navigate customer complaints with grace and elevate to the District Manager if unresolved.
• Rotate and store perishable products to maintain freshness and minimize spoilage.
• Actively recruit, interview, and staff store to operate within budgeted hours without overtime.
• Control inventory to maintain shortage at less than 1.0% of sales.
• Compile daily close-out paperwork and conduct cash audits weekly.
• Follow Vendor Check In policy and count all merchandise received.
• Adhere to Company policies and procedures as outlined in Employee Handbook.

Working Hours: This position requires flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and some holidays. Weekly hours will vary depending on business needs.

• Ensures all employees are upholding strict food safety standards.
• Navigate customer complaints with grace and elevate complaints as necessary to the District Manager, QSR if unresolved.
• Ensure perishable products are properly rotated and stored to maintain freshness, avoid cross-contamination, and minimize spoilage.
• Actively recruit, interview, and staff store with the required number of employees to operate at budgeted hours without overtime or over-budget exceptions.
• Responsible for controlling inventory to maintain inventory shortage performance (at less than 1.0% short to merchandise sales).
• Compiles, inputs, reconciles, and balances each component of the daily close-out paperwork as well as completes end-of-the-day accounting by 8:00 am. Conduct cash audit weekly.
• Strictly follow and enforce the Vendor Check In policy and personally count all merchandise received into the store.
• Adhere to the Company’s established policies and procedures as outlined in the Employee Handbook.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: An ideal candidate will have experience with or understanding of:

• Have the physical ability to perform all duties of a restaurant team member regularly.
• Food service/safety experience.
• Good leadership, communication, and team-building skills.

Education and Experience: An ideal candidate will have the following education and experience:

• Two years' experience managing a quick-service restaurant.
• Valid driver's license.

Working Environment And Physical Requirements

• Must be able to lift 50 pounds at times.

Travel

• Must be able to travel up to 10%.
