Job description

The Restaurant Manager is responsible for overseeing and directing the seamless operation of the restaurant and supervising all team members. The Restaurant Manager must take the lead in the absence of the General Manager, providing efficient and effective service while ensuring compliance with all financial and statutory requirements, and delivering outstanding guest service.

Responsibilities

1. Coach, develop, and lead by example.
2. Ensure staff are properly equipped to complete their tasks.
3. Touch tables to ensure guest satisfaction.
4. Recognize and cultivate relationships with regular guests to encourage repeat business.
5. Create an environment of trust and mutual respect.
6. Maintain high standards of food and beverage quality, guest service, cost control, and service consistency.
7. Manage staffing levels and controllable costs in line with budget.
8. Ensure private events, catering, and banquets are successfully executed.
9. Adhere to company policies on cash handling and financial procedures.
