Job Summary

The Restaurant Manager will oversee and manage the daily operations of the restaurant.

Supervisory Responsibilities
  • Hires and trains restaurant staff.
  • Organizes and oversees the staff schedules.
  • Conducts performance evaluations that are timely and constructive.
  • Handles discipline and termination of employees in accordance with restaurant policy.
Duties & Responsibilities
  • Achieve company objectives in sales, service, safety, quality, and appearance of restaurant.
  • Partner with the Director of Operations and General Manager to develop and implement marketing and up-selling initiatives to promote restaurant food, beverages, and services, maximizing revenue.
  • Monitor and assess product, service, and satisfaction trends, evaluate issues, and implement improvements.
  • Ensure a welcoming atmosphere and responsive, friendly, courteous service for guests.
  • Communicate professionally with guests and coworkers, fostering a positive work environment and holding the team accountable.
  • Maintain food production standards according to Graziano’s Manual and Specifications.
  • Collaborate with HR to recruit, develop, supervise, and evaluate team members, including counseling and recognition.
  • Minimize costs related to food, beverages, supplies, utilities, and labor, and control waste.
  • Ensure cash handling procedures comply with policies.
  • Organize and complete all required paperwork timely.
  • Review labor schedules to align with business needs and cost objectives.
  • Administer corrective actions fairly and promptly for policy violations.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant health, safety, and labor regulations.
  • Fill in as needed to maintain service standards and operational efficiency.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

  • Prolonged standing and walking.
  • Ability to traverse all parts of the restaurant quickly.
  • Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds.
  • May work in hot and cold environments, especially in the kitchen.
