Job Summary
The Restaurant Manager will oversee and manage the daily operations of the restaurant.
Supervisory Responsibilities
- Hires and trains restaurant staff.
- Organizes and oversees the staff schedules.
- Conducts performance evaluations that are timely and constructive.
- Handles discipline and termination of employees in accordance with restaurant policy.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Achieve company objectives in sales, service, safety, quality, and appearance of restaurant.
- Partner with the Director of Operations and General Manager to develop and implement marketing and up-selling initiatives to promote restaurant food, beverages, and services, maximizing revenue.
- Monitor and assess product, service, and satisfaction trends, evaluate issues, and implement improvements.
- Ensure a welcoming atmosphere and responsive, friendly, courteous service for guests.
- Communicate professionally with guests and coworkers, fostering a positive work environment and holding the team accountable.
- Maintain food production standards according to Graziano’s Manual and Specifications.
- Collaborate with HR to recruit, develop, supervise, and evaluate team members, including counseling and recognition.
- Minimize costs related to food, beverages, supplies, utilities, and labor, and control waste.
- Ensure cash handling procedures comply with policies.
- Organize and complete all required paperwork timely.
- Review labor schedules to align with business needs and cost objectives.
- Administer corrective actions fairly and promptly for policy violations.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant health, safety, and labor regulations.
- Fill in as needed to maintain service standards and operational efficiency.
- Perform other duties as assigned.

Education and Experience
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous restaurant experience required; management experience preferred.
- Successful completion of corporate training program required.
Physical Requirements
- Prolonged standing and walking.
- Ability to traverse all parts of the restaurant quickly.
- Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds.
- May work in hot and cold environments, especially in the kitchen.
