Job description

Hotel Equities, a multi-award-winning hotel development and hospitality management company, is currently searching for a remarkable Restaurant General Manager for the Agasi7 Rooftop Bar + Kitchen located inside the Hilton Garden Inn Little Rock Downtown.

Job Purpose:

Plan and manage the restaurant, room service and other food and beverage outlets as appropriate in order to achieve customer satisfaction, quality service, compliance with corporate/franchise policies and procedures and federal, state and local regulations while meeting/exceeding financial goals. Position is responsible for the short-term planning and daily operations of the restaurant and room service and may manage a lounge or quiet bar. Recommends promotional ideas and controls the budgets for the various areas. Warm, knowledgeable service and helpful guidance reassure guests they’ve made the right choice to stay with us.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee all front-of-house operations during dinner service (prep through close).
  • Lead and inspire a high-performing service team with a focus on hospitality, professionalism, and efficiency.
  • Partner with culinary and bar leadership to ensure seamless coordination between kitchen, bar, and floor.
  • Manage nightly reservations, seating strategies, and guest flow to optimize experience and revenue.
  • Monitor service standards, cleanliness, and safety compliance.
  • Handle guest concerns in real-time with professionalism and poise.
  • Support hiring, training, and development of service staff.
  • Maintain labor efficiency and collaborate on cost controls and inventory as needed.
  • Serve as the senior point of leadership during dinner hours, including VIP or event coverage.

Qualifications and Requirements:

High School diploma /Secondary qualification or equivalent.

Experience with Marriott, Hilton, IHG, Wyndham or Hyatt processes and standards.

This job requires the ability to perform the following:

  • 3-5+ years of experience in restaurant management, preferable in upscale or fine dining.
  • Proven leadership in high-volume, guest-focused environments.
  • Strong knowledge of service standards, POS systems, and dining room flow.
  • Excellent communication, team development, and organizational skills.
  • Flexible availability during service hours, including weekends and holidays.
  • Passion for hospitality, attention to detail, and calm under pressure.

  • Reading and writing abilities are used often when completing paperwork, logging issues/complaints/requests/ information updates, etc.
