Pre-Game

We are seeking a Restaurant Manager to partner with the management team as a defensive coach, overseeing all team members and ensuring they have the tools and resources to succeed. Your primary focus will be managing the day-to-day operations of the restaurant, executing strategies with the management team to maximize team spirit, revenue, profit, and service standards.

Game Day

• Assist with recruiting, selection, orientation, scheduling, and performance management.
• Maintain adequate staffing levels within your core area.
• Coach team members to be welcoming and professional to customers.
• Build and develop a team capable of achieving established goals.
• Provide ongoing performance feedback and recognition.
• Partner with the GM to ensure adherence to company training programs, including hourly, shift leaders, certified training, and alcohol awareness.
• Communicate any team member, service, or quality issues to management.
• Understand financial goals set by the GM and implement practices to meet them.
• Handle restaurant administrative tasks such as cash handling and bank deposits.
• Plan and order inventory items including food, beverages, and supplies.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, practices, and procedures.
• Enforce food safety, sanitation, cleanliness, and maintenance standards.
• Ensure food quality, safety, security, and cleanliness are maintained.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Rules of Play

• 5+ years of recent restaurant experience, including 2+ in leadership roles.
• Team player willing to assist and support the team.
• Passionate and committed, thriving in a fast-paced environment.
• Knowledge of labor laws, health codes, food handling, responsible alcohol service, safety systems, and computer operations.
• Passionate about training and developing team members.
• Strong time management and organizational skills.
• Ability to understand financial reports.
• Familiar with Point of Sale systems or willing to learn.
• Exceptional coaching, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods.
• Legally authorized to work in the US, verified by E-Verify.
