Job Overview

The IHOP Restaurant Manager reports directly to the General Manager. The manager supervises IHOP restaurant employees and is responsible for managing operations in the front and back of the house, focusing on profitability and sales growth while maintaining IHOP's standards of quality and service.

Responsibilities
  1. Executing financial, marketing, guest service, and human resource objectives as per IHOP SOP and operational plans.
  2. Developing professional relationships with employees and franchisee organization.
  3. Managing the restaurant floor and engaging with guests.
  4. Handling guest complaints professionally and promptly.
  5. Ensuring compliance with SOP in recruitment, training, food safety, sanitation, and security.
  6. Supervisory duties including hiring, training, performance appraisal, and discipline.
  7. Completing reports and maintaining personnel files.
  8. Availability to work days, nights, and weekends.

Requirements
