Kane Brown's on Broadway in Nashville is seeking a dynamic Front-of-House Manager to lead the dining experience during busy events. You will supervise servers, hosts, and bartenders, coach staff, and ensure hospitality, cleanliness, and service standards align with our energetic concept.

This full-time role requires high-volume restaurant or bar/club leadership, strong inventory and cost-control skills, and a passion for guest delight.

Qualifications

  • High-volume restaurant/ bar/ club leadership experience required.
  • Strong customer service, leadership and organizational skills.
  • Experience with POS systems and backend reporting.

Responsibilities

  • Lead operations focusing on service quality, staff development, and profitability.
  • Supervise front-of-house staff including servers, hosts, and bartenders.
  • Train staff in procedures, customer service standards, and POS use.
  • Ensure prompt, friendly guest service and address inquiries professionally.
  • Monitor dining area cleanliness and safety compliance.
  • Oversee reservations, seating, and flow to optimize space.
  • Coordinate with kitchen for timely food delivery.
  • Manage FOH inventory and place orders as needed.
  • Maintain high standards for food quality and presentation.
  • Inspect dining areas for sanitation and organization.
  • Address issues promptly and implement corrective actions.
  • Motivate and coach team to exceed guest expectations.

POSITION SUMMARY

This is an exciting opportunity to create memorable dining experiences for our customers, continually improve our quality of service and help our team reach their full potential.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Provide leadership focusing on operations, food/service quality, staff development, hospitality, cleanliness, and sales/profitability.
  • Supervise and coordinate front-of-house staff, including servers, hosts/hostesses, and bartenders.
  • Train new employees in restaurant procedures, customer service standards, and POS systems.
  • Ensure prompt, friendly, and efficient guest service.
  • Address customer inquiries, concerns, and complaints professionally and promptly.
  • Monitor the dining area for cleanliness, organization, and compliance with health and safety regulations.
  • Oversee table assignments, reservations, and seating to optimize space and ensure timely service.
  • Coordinate with kitchen staff to ensure accurate and prompt delivery of food orders.
  • Monitor front-of-house supply inventory and place orders as necessary.
  • Maintain high standards for food quality, presentation, and consistency.
  • Conduct regular inspections of the dining area to ensure cleanliness and adherence to sanitation standards.
  • Address service or operational issues promptly and implement corrective measures.
  • Motivate and inspire the front-of-house team to exceed customer expectations.
  • Foster a positive work environment characterized by teamwork, respect, and professionalism.
  • Provide ongoing coaching and feedback to staff for professional development and performance improvement.
  • Monitor sales performance, analyze trends, and identify opportunities to maximize revenue.
  • Control costs through efficient labor scheduling, inventory management, and waste reduction initiatives.
  • Ensure proper execution of private events, catering, and banquets.
  • Manage cash handling and recognition procedures in accordance with company policies.
  • Ensure compliance with all company policies and procedures.
QUALIFICATIONS
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • 21+ years of age.
  • Minimum of 4 years of high-volume restaurant or bar/club management experience.
  • Sales, promotion and event experience preferred.
  • Demonstrates excellent leadership skills and sound business ethics.
  • Strong interpersonal and conflict resolution skills.
  • Must be self-motivated and guest focused.
  • Excellent organizational/time management skills.
  • Results driven and able to meet deadlines.
  • Familiar with touch screen POS systems including backend reports.
  • Well versed in Inventory management and troubleshooting including food and beverage.
  • Food safe certification and responsible alcohol training

WORKING CONDITIONS

This is a full-time position. Day and hours will vary dependent on scheduled events.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
  • Stamina and Endurance: Ability to stand and walk for extended periods, often during busy shifts, to supervise and assist staff throughout the premises.
  • Mobility: Capability to move quickly and efficiently through the dining room, kitchen, and other areas to ensure smooth operations.
  • Strength: Ability to lift and carry light to moderately heavy items, such as trays, chairs, or other equipment, often weighing up to 20-30 pounds.
  • Manual Dexterity: Proficiency in handling small tasks such as managing POS systems, handling paperwork, or assisting with guest service.
  • Good Vision and Hearing: Essential for observing the dining area, monitoring service quality, and communicating effectively with staff and guests.
  • Tolerating Stressful Environments: While not purely physical, the ability to maintain composure and handle fast-paced, high-pressure situations is crucial.
  • Flexibility: Ability to bend, kneel, or reach when necessary, such as adjusting seating arrangements or resolving issues in various areas.
