Responsibilities of a Restaurant Manager include:

  1. Managing hourly employees, including performance evaluations, coaching, and discipline.
  2. Reviewing applications, interviewing, and hiring or recommending candidates.
  3. Directing work schedules, assigning tasks, and managing restaurant operations before, during, and after hours.
  4. Driving sales, ensuring steps of service, and guest satisfaction.
  5. Providing and scheduling training for Front and Back of House staff.
  6. Supervising food production and preparation according to recipes and procedures.
  7. Conducting formal Taste & Temps line checks.
  8. Enforcing security measures to ensure safety of employees and guests.
  9. Managing food, supplies, and liquor costs through weekly inventory.
  10. Practicing safe food handling procedures.
  11. Creating a safe, fun, and clean work environment aligned with core values and operational goals.
