Job summary

Nordstrom in Honolulu is seeking a friendly, self-motivated host/hostess to deliver outstanding customer service. You will greet and seat guests, share menu knowledge, and assist with training while supporting other restaurant tasks as needed.

The role requires clear communication, adaptability to a busy environment, and a flexible schedule. A food handler’s card is required where regulations apply. Previous food service experience is preferred.

• 1+ year of experience in food service/hospitality (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Greet and seat customers quickly and professionally.
• Share knowledge and enthusiasm about the menu and products.
• Assist with new employee training and reinforce performance.
• Support other areas of the restaurant as needed (phone, transactions, stock, cleanup, documentation).
• Hours and schedule vary by week depending on business needs.
