Job description

This is a part-time position for Monday and Tuesday, 7 am - 3 pm.

NINE-TEN Restaurant is one of San Diego’s first ‘farm-to-table’ restaurants and a regionally acclaimed dining establishment. Led by Executive Chef Jason Knibb, a recipient of numerous industry honors including “San Diego’s Chef of the Year” and Rising Star Chef, along with Pastry Chef Jose Alonzo III, the restaurant has received prestigious awards including Michelin “Plate Distinction”.

The Role:

• Answer phones and schedule reservations using OpenTable.
• Arrange parties and special events for diners.
• Greet guests and escort them to their tables, pull out chairs, and provide menus.
• Assist in moving tables and chairs for large parties.
• Pour waters and assist with coffee drinks, including espressos, hot teas, and brewed coffee, maintaining stock of ingredients.
• Assist in folding napkins and keeping the host stand clean.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
