Job Overview

The Restaurant Host is responsible for providing prompt, courteous service by greeting guests and overseeing dining room activities. The role involves interacting professionally with guests, working as part of a team to ensure guest satisfaction, and handling reservations and guest inquiries efficiently.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

1. Greet guests and assist in maintaining cleanliness of the outlet.
2. Manage reservations, assign tables, and ensure availability for resort guests.
3. Assist with event setups, food running, bussing, and other service duties.
4. Handle guest inquiries regarding menu, resort facilities, and golf courses.
5. Monitor guest behavior, especially alcohol consumption, and escalate issues when necessary.
6. Support side work and assist in maintaining a welcoming environment.
7. Follow all safety, health, and company policies.

Minimum Requirements

• Excellent communication skills.
• Attention to detail, speed, and accuracy.
• Courtesy and anticipation of guest needs.
• Ability to stand for long periods and work under pressure.
• Teamwork skills to coordinate with staff.

Additional Information

Pay rate is $23.24/hour plus gratuity. Benefits include health and retirement plans, discounts at resort facilities, employee golf privileges, and career growth opportunities.
