Job summary

Hyatt Mexico City is seeking a personable Greeter to welcome guests, escort them to dining areas, present menus and coordinate seating to ensure a smooth and memorable restaurant experience.

The role requires clear communication, the ability to operate in a fast-paced environment, and flexibility to work weekends and holidays. Previous guest-facing experience is valued, and a commitment to high standards will help you thrive in our hospitality team.

Qualifications

• Must clearly communicate Guests' needs to servers, bussers, managers, etc.
• Must hear well in a loud environment in order to respond to guest requests.
• Must be able to walk and stand during entire shift.
• Must be able to reach, bend, stoop and wipe.
• Passion for providing extraordinary service.
• The ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
• Must be willing to work a flexible schedule weekend and holidays as needed.

Responsibilities

• Greet incoming and departing guests warmly with a genuine smile and eye contact; escort them to assigned dining area; present menus; announce waiter's name
• Answer incoming calls to the restaurant and provide appropriate service
• Manage the flow of guests into the dining and bar areas, provide accurate wait times to incoming guests if appropriate
• Tend to special Guest needs and requests
• Observant to Guests' needs throughout dining experience to ensure they receive high quality service
• Protect establishment and patrons by adhering to sanitation, safety and alcohol control policies
