Crosby Street Hotel in New York is seeking a personable Crosby Bar Host to warmly greet guests, manage reservations, and coordinate with hotel teams to ensure flawless service. You will balance guest flow across stations and provide accurate waiting times during busy periods.

Ideal candidates bring a friendly demeanor, excellent English communication, and flexibility for AM/PM shifts, weekends, and holidays. Prior OpenTable experience is preferred but not required.

• Position Type: Full Time, Non‑Exempt Tipped Position
• Reports To: Restaurant Manager

Main Duties

• Greet all guests upon arrival with a polished, approachable demeanor.
• Provide guests with estimated waiting times while maintaining a professional and courteous attitude during peak or challenging service moments.
• Seat guests according to their preferences while carefully balancing customer flow across service stations and manage the reservation book via OpenTable.
• Thank guests as they leave, invite them to return, and relay any immediate feedback to the manager on duty.
• Maintain seamless communication between the bar, restaurant, and other hotel departments.
• Answer incoming calls, manage reservation systems, and field email correspondence promptly.
• Actively promote sister Firmdale Hotels and associated dining concepts.
• Ensure punctuality and personal responsibility in all tasks.
