Responsibilities

Position Summary:

The Host is responsible for greeting and seat restaurant guests while demonstrating an upbeat, energetic, & welcoming personality. Acts as a restaurant concierge, you are the first interaction with our guests.

Hourly Rate: $18.50/hour

Responsibilities

Duties and Responsibilities:

• A warm personality, attentive, and presentable.
• Committed to delivering high levels of customer service.
• Responds courteously and efficiently to queries and problems from guests, and all staff.
• Will be responsible for making, changing, and confirming restaurant reservations via OpenTable & phone
• Will follow up on hotel front desk requests regarding reservations, Taste of Guadalajara sign ups, special events, etc.
• Help servers and other restaurant staff polish and roll silverware
• Maintains cleanliness and organization of Host stand
• Ensures opening, ongoing and closing side work is complete and signed off by a manager on duty
• Always maintains a professional demeanor and attitude
• Follows through on lost and found procedures. No articles shall be removed from occupied guest spaces. Absolute respect for guest property should always be exercised
• Maintains a professional appearance. Follows all Miramonte dress code standards
• Remains alert, courteous and helpful to the guests and colleagues at all time
• Performs other related duties as assigned
• Offers menu advice and suggestions to guests
• Provides general resort information for guests
• Maintains an up to date working knowledge of all resort activities as well as any special events
• Maintains a commitment to customer service and guest satisfaction
• Greeting guests as they enter the restaurant, seating guests with a genuine and welcoming smile, inquiring about special occasions or dietary restrictions.
• Using ticket printer to ensure communication regarding guests' reservations and ensure the servers receive the chit’s once the guest has been seated.
• Take to go food orders for walk ups & call ins
• Offers warm and sincere welcome/farewell for all guests of Miranorte including use of guest name & good eye contact with each guest
