Job summary

Fenway Hotel in Dunedin, Florida, is seeking a friendly Restaurant Host to greet guests and seat them promptly, ensuring a warm dining experience. You’ll use MICROS and Yelp reservations, assist with menus, and work as part of a hotel team to deliver exceptional service.

Requirements include a high school diploma or higher, and hospitality experience is preferred. Full-time benefits include Medical, Dental, Vision, 401K and paid time off.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or higher.
• Previous hospitality experience preferred, at least one-year host position.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to use tablets/iPads and related tech.
• Assist with menu revisions when needed.

Responsibilities

• Welcome guests genuinely and seat them as quickly as possible.
• Converse with guests in a friendly, hospitable and informative manner.
• Use rotation methods to ensure fair seating and flow.
• Maintain greeter station cleanliness and front-of-house readiness.
• Communicate seating needs to servers and assist when needed.
• Operate MICROS POS and Yelp reservations system when required.
• Attend department meetings and perform other duties as assigned.
