Job summary

Puttshack USA is seeking a Hospitality Manager to oversee a high-volume full-service restaurant/venue with a game component. You will manage hourly staff, lead shift operations, and partner with the Director of Operations to reach venue goals and drive guest satisfaction.

Reporting into the Director of Operations, you will ensure safe, compliant operations and a top-tier guest experience while developing your team and controlling costs in a dynamic, tech-infused environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience as a manager in a full-service restaurant.
• Experience within a high-volume food & beverage, hospitality, and/or social entertainment venue.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to resolve conflict and provide direction to teams.
• Demonstrates financial acumen and solid understanding of restaurant operations.
• Tech savvy and willing to learn new systems and tools.
• Flexible availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• This position must pass a post-offer background check.

Responsibilities

• Operational Leadership: Oversee areas of venue operations including service, bar, reception, game & tech and/or bar.
• Uphold company policies and standards; inspire others to comply and excel.
• Operate POS systems and team member scheduling software.
• Manage controllable expenses for the area of responsibility and ensure proper side work is completed.
• Foster collaboration between kitchen and front-of-house operations.

Position Summary:

Reporting into Director of Operations, theHospitality Managerwill help oversee a multi‑faceted high‑volume full‑service restaurant/venue with a game component. Hospitality Managers are responsible for executing exceptional operations during shift execution, from the food we serve to the Guest service we provide in our venue. Manage hourly team members and provide them with leadership and development, while partnering closely with the Director of Operations and Assistant Director of Operations to achieve venue goals and business objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

Operational Leadership:

• Oversee 1-2 areas of the venue operations including service, bar, reception, game & tech and/or bar.
• Uphold company policies, processes, procedures, and standards to adhere to compliance and business objectives; inspires others to the do the same.
• Effectively operate computer systems including a POS System, Online TeamMember Scheduler.
• Manages controllable expenses for their area of responsibility
• Ensure all side work is appropriately assigned and completed
• Ensure collaboration between kitchen and front of house operations

Team Development and Management:

• Participate in hiring, training, and developing hourly associates
• Create, maintain and update associate schedules using weekly and daily forecasts.
• Conducts/leads pre-shift meetings to provide daily focus and provide continuous coaching and direction to hourly staff
• Drive accountability and consistency by providing constructive coaching and feedback.

Guest Experience:

• Manages Guest Service issues professionally and with a guest centric mindset
• Champion the Puttshack brand by ensuring a consistent and exceptional guest experience

Compliance and Safety:

• Maintain a safe, secure and healthy work environment and food safety
• Ensure proper safety protocols to minimize risk and ensure a safe environment for guests and associates.

Required Skills and Experience:

• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a manager in a full-service restaurant; experience within a high-volume food & beverage, hospitality, and/or social entertainment venue
• Results driven; ability to lead/coach team to achieve business objectives/goals
• Strong communication skills with the ability to resolve conflict and provide direction to your teams
• Demonstrates financial acumen, strong understanding of restaurant operations
• Tech savvy and willingness to learn new systems and tools.
• Flexible availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
• This position must pass a post-offer background check

Preferred Skills and Experience:

• Preferred certifications including ServSafe and state/local licensing requirements
• Hospitality Degree preferred
