Job summary

Wendy's seeks a General Manager to lead all aspects of a busy Middletown restaurant. You will drive performance, coach a diverse team, manage scheduling, and ensure excellent customer service while safeguarding food safety and cost controls.

Under a District Manager, you will oversee daily operations, hiring, training, and staff development, with a focus on profitability and brand standards. This hands-on role rewards strong leaders with advancement opportunities and competitive pay.

Qualifications

• 2 years+ experience in high-volume food service (preferred).
• Flexibility to work 50–55 hours per week, rotating shifts including weekends/holidays.
• Valid driver’s license in good standing & access to reliable transportation.
• Consent to background screening.
• Able to stand/walk for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds.
• Proven ability to lead and manage a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong problem-solving, decision-making, and customer-focused mindset.
• Commitment to food safety procedures and standards.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily restaurant operations and drive revenue, service quality, and profitability.
• Create and manage staff schedules to meet business goals.
• Interview, hire, train, and orientate team members; coach and develop staff.
• Ensure health and safety inspections are passed and procedures are followed.
• Maintain financial controls and monitor costs to achieve targets.
