General Manager
The purpose of the Restaurant Manager is to oversee, control, and administer a la carte and/or outlets, maintaining and exceeding property Brand Standards in each outlet.

- Ensure each Guest receives outstanding Guest Service by providing a friendly environment, greeting and acknowledging every Guest, maintaining high standards, possessing solid product knowledge, and other components of Guest Service.
- Ensure Guest Satisfaction Scores meet or exceed goals.
- Maintain favorable relationships with all associates to foster a positive work environment.
- Work in a fast-paced, customer service-oriented environment; perform duties under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Attend BEO, Staff, and Food & Beverage Meetings.
- Analyze and monitor daily operation reports, financial statements, and labor costs.
- Perform special projects as necessary for the General Manager and/or Food and Beverage Director.
- Handle planning and execution of hotel-sponsored events.
- Taste food and beverage products to ensure quality and consistency.
- Market ideas and promotions within the F&B Department.
- Monitor F&B POS systems; assist in cashier procedures.
- Perform duties of associates when business demands.
- Handle Manager on Duty responsibilities as required.
- Control customer flow and interaction between front and back-of-house during service.
- Ensure team members maintain brand standards and high customer service levels.
- Handle customer inquiries professionally.
- Maintain outlet scheduling and payroll.
- Conduct pre-shift and departmental meetings to communicate pertinent information.
- Coordinate with other departments and participate in marketing efforts, menu creation, and food trend surveys.
- Monitor product quality and guest satisfaction; ensure food is consistent and appealing.
- Maintain outlet profitability by controlling costs, inventory, and equipment maintenance.
- Support F&B operations, supervise other areas if needed, and handle special projects and promotions.
- Ensure a clean and safe environment, adhering to safety policies and procedures.
- Maintain personal appearance standards as outlined in the team member handbook.
- Perform any related duties as requested by the manager and assist other restaurant personnel when needed.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
- Thorough knowledge of food outlet operations, including food and beverage, supervision, service techniques, and guest interaction.
- Knowledge of liquor regulations related to serving alcohol to minors and intoxicated guests.
- Hold or be in the process of obtaining a current Food Handler Card.
- Ability to work under pressure and handle stressful situations during busy periods.
- Knowledge of proper table settings and service ware.
- Basic English proficiency to understand inquiries and communicate instructions.
- Ability to interpret and apply written product labeling instructions.
- Ability to remember, recite, and promote menu items.
- Operate beverage equipment, e.g., coffee maker.
- Minimum 2-3 years experience as a Food & Beverage Supervisor in a similar-sized property, with product and equipment knowledge.
Physical Demands
- Transport up to 30 lbs. continuously throughout shifts.
- Lifting up to 30 pounds maximum.
- Constant standing and walking; frequent twisting, bending, reaching, talking, hearing, seeing, and smiling.
