Waldorf Astoria Beverly Hills is seeking a Restaurant General Manager to oversee The Rooftop by JG. This is an excellent opportunity to join a prestigious hospitality company and a renowned restaurant group.

This Forbes 5-Star property features 170 rooms, 6,300 sq ft of banquet space, and 4 food and beverage outlets, including 2 restaurants, a lobby lounge, and in-room dining.

As the Restaurant General Manager, you will manage The Rooftop by JG, leading a team of over 50 members and reporting to the Director of Food & Beverage. The restaurant, a Jean-Georges Vongerichten establishment, offers panoramic city views and serves American classics for lunch and dinner.

The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong leadership, a passion for exceptional service, attention to detail, and talent in team development. Requirements include at least 4 years of restaurant management experience in fine dining or high-volume settings. Experience with union and luxury hotels is a plus.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee all outlet operations, including guest service, product quality, cost control, profitability, marketing, budgeting, policy enforcement, and meetings.
  • Develop and monitor team performance through supervision, professional development, counseling, evaluations, and recognition.
  • Assess customer satisfaction, address issues, and implement improvements.
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, sanitation, and alcohol standards.
  • Implement marketing and upselling strategies to maximize revenue.
  • Maintain team knowledge of offerings, policies, and local events.
  • Recruit, interview, and train staff.
