The Restaurant General Manager is responsible for the overall operations of the Popeyes restaurant in Prince George, VA. This fast-paced environment provides an opportunity to learn and manage multiple priorities that significantly impact the restaurant’s success. You will ensure the restaurant operates smoothly, meets company standards, and delivers an exceptional customer experience. As a General Manager, you will lead a team that values service, positivity, and a shared vision. The ideal candidate will align with our mission and prioritize delivering an exceptional guest experience. They should have experience in managing high-volume restaurants, preferably in a fast-casual environment (though not required), and possess a strong working knowledge of P&L management and achieving budget goals.

Requirements

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Flexible and open schedule, including availability for holidays and weekends.
  • Basic food safety knowledge and practice; ServSafe certification is a plus.
  • Proven ability to run efficient shifts and coach 10+ team members.
  • Proven ability to direct, motivate, and develop others in a fast-paced, friendly environment.
  • Ability and willingness to bend, twist, and stand to perform regular job functions.
  • Ability and willingness to lift/push objects weighing over 40 lbs.
