Job Title: Restaurant General Manager - Pizza Hut at Glenshire Group

Established in 2020, it consolidates various business interests across sectors including Retail (Greens Retail), Hospitality, Property, Cleaning Hygiene & Business Supplies (Glenshire Brands), and Online and Frozen Drinks (Skwishee). We are currently recruiting a Restaurant General Manager as we expand our Pizza Hut portfolio.

Various Pizza Hut stores in Edinburgh

Position Overview:

Leading the restaurant management team and staff, you will oversee daily operations, ensuring customer satisfaction and operational efficiency through effective management and business expertise.

Functional Responsibilities:
  • Manage all front-of-house and back-of-house operations and equipment maintenance.
  • Ensure compliance with safety, sanitation, and security standards, and develop improvement action plans.
  • Maintain financial health by achieving food cost and labor goals.
  • Manage P&L statements adhering to financial controls and security standards.
  • Adapt to market trends and environmental conditions, modifying store plans to meet business targets.
Leadership Responsibilities:
  • Lead with a growth mindset, exemplifying Smart, Heart, and Courage.
  • Set high standards for self and team.
  • Recruit, hire, and plan staffing needs.
  • Implement training programs to develop team members and management.
  • Oversee training, development, and performance management of staff.
  • Build and lead the management team, reporting on performance and activities.

  • Create a positive and inclusive culture aligned with Yum!’s values.
  • Foster a culture of recognition.
  • Engage with customers to build strong relationships.
  • Maintain a helpful, upbeat, and friendly attitude.

Educational & Experience Requirements:
  • At least 3 years of supervisory/management experience in multi-outlet food retail or service industry.
  • Proven performance in achieving KPIs with primary profit responsibility.
  • Certification in Leading a Restaurant (LAR).
  • Ability to travel between restaurants as required.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
