Job summary

Falafel Inc is hiring an experienced General Manager to own the day-to-day performance of our Fairfax-area restaurant. You will lead the team, drive guest satisfaction, and manage the numbers to ensure standards are met.

You will hire, train, coach, and schedule staff, develop future leaders, and maintain food safety and quality while delivering fast, friendly service in a high-volume setting.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of restaurant management experience.
• Fast-casual, QSR or high-volume background preferred.
• Strong leadership and people-management skills.

Responsibilities

• Take full ownership of day-to-day restaurant performance.
• Hire, train, coach, schedule, and retain a strong team.
• Build future Shift Leaders and Assistant Managers from within.
• Ensure guests receive great food, fast service and hospitality.
• Understand and manage sales, labor, food cost, waste and productivity.
• Create smart schedules based on sales and business needs.
• Own ordering, inventory, waste, portion control, and food-cost.
• Keep restaurant clean, organized, and ready for business.
• Set clear expectations and follow through; address issues promptly.
