Job summary

Sully's Steamers in Spartanburg, SC, is seeking a General Manager to oversee daily restaurant operations, staff development, inventory, and guest satisfaction.

You will optimize profits, ensure food safety and service quality, and lead hiring, training, scheduling, and performance reviews to drive a joyful, high‑performing team.

This role requires strong leadership, financial acumen, and a passion for hospitality.

Qualifications

• College degree preferred or equivalent experience.
• Proficient with MS Word, Excel, and Google Suite.
• Knowledge of kitchen operations, sanitation, and food safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage all areas of the restaurant and make final decisions on matters of importance.
• Adhere to company standards to increase sales and minimize costs, including food, beverage, supply, utility, and labor.
• Complete financial (invoices, reporting) and payroll-related duties accurately and on time.
• Coordinate with corporate office for provisioning and purchasing of supplies.
• Enforce sanitary practices for food handling and maintenance of kitchen and dining areas.
• Ensure compliance with laws and company policies, maintaining a professional restaurant image.
• Ensure consistent, high-quality food preparation and service; estimate needs and place orders.
• Provide direction to employees and oversee hiring, training, and performance reviews.
• Maintain schedules and staffing to cover all shifts.
• Engage with the local community to strengthen the Sully’s Steamers brand.
