Job summary

Live Bait - Orange Beach is seeking a General Manager to oversee every aspect of restaurant operations in Orange Beach, AL. You will lead the team to deliver outstanding guest service, manage scheduling, staffing, and compliance with policies and laws, and drive the business using effective P&L oversight.

In this role you will work with the area supervisor on annual budgets, hire and train staff, and push for peak revenue through strategic upselling and cost controls while maintaining a warm,

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience as salaried manager in full-service casual dining.
• Experience with full-service alcohol serving facility desirable.
• Record of maintaining high standards in restaurant cleanliness, sanitation, food quality, and guest satisfaction.
• Demonstrated leadership through coaching, directing, and motivating a team.
• Some exposure to P&L and sales-building desirable.

Responsibilities

• Oversee every aspect of restaurant operations.
• Ensure excellent guest service that meets or exceeds expectations.
• Ensure adequate staffing to meet guest needs.
• Control day-to-day operations and review financial reports.
• Develop the restaurant's annual operating budget with area supervisor.
• Operate in accordance with company policies and laws.
• Interview, hire, train, and manage employees; delegate responsibilities.
• Manage financial and payroll administrative duties according to policy.
• Manage all shifts, staffing, scheduling, and planning.
• Maximize table turnover, sales per guest, and sales per hour.
• Enforce safe work behaviors and maintain a safe environment.
• Meet the restaurant's P&L and expense goals.
• Promote suggestive selling; maintain hospitable atmosphere.
