Job summary

Akash Management, LLC (doing business as Carl’s Jr.) is seeking a General Manager in the Los Angeles area. The GM will lead restaurant operations, drive guest satisfaction, and manage financial performance, staffing, and compliance. This role requires strong leadership, strategic planning, and a focus on the guest experience.

Responsibilities include hiring and coaching staff, executing the business plan, managing budgets, and ensuring food safety and labor law compliance across the site.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 3–5 years in management, preferably in a restaurant.
• Able to work a 47.5–50 hour work week with flexible hours.
• Experience in customer service and staff leadership.

Responsibilities

• Create an environment where the Guest is always right and ensures a positive service experience.
• Respond quickly to Guest concerns and maintain guest satisfaction.
• Hire high-quality staff and ensure training and empowerment.
• Develop and execute the restaurant business plan and budget.
• Utilize labor efficiently to meet budget and manage financial results.
• Enforce labor laws and food safety standards.
• Provide regular performance feedback and maintain a fun working environment.
