Job summary

Zaxbys is hiring a General Manager in Georgia to lead daily restaurant operations, guide a team, and ensure exceptional guest experiences. You will oversee staffing, training, and performance while driving sales and maintaining cost controls.

The role requires strong leadership, organizational skills, and the ability to coach and mentor staff, with responsibilities spanning compliance, safety, and mission-critical performance reviews.

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• Must have a valid driver’s license, vehicle insurance, and reliable transportation.
• Open availability and ability to work a minimum of 5 days and 48 hours per week.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including days, nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Successful completion of background check and motor vehicle report.
• Must possess leadership qualities, organizational skills, and ability to interact cooperatively with others.
• Required minimum education: High school diploma or equivalent and some college preferred.
• 3-5 years management experience required.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop restaurant team to achieve goals.
• Maintain staffing levels by sourcing, interviewing, hiring, retaining, and recognizing top performers.
• Ensure training and ongoing coaching with accountability for performance.
• Drive sales and control labor costs with effective scheduling.
• Maintain food safety, product quality, and cleanliness standards.
• Build a positive culture and motivate the team through leadership.
• Ensure compliance with all guidelines, policies, and procedures across franchising entities.
• Review performance metrics and implement action plans to improve profitability and guest experience.
