Job summary

Hoogland Restaurant Group seeks an energetic General Manager to lead Marco’s Pizza locations, driving product quality, service, and sales while controlling costs. Qualifications

• 3 years of leadership experience in a restaurant setting.
• Experience interviewing and hiring store employees.
• Ability to manage scheduling, payroll, benefits and performance reviews.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop restaurant team to deliver outstanding food quality and customer service.
• Drive sales growth and control costs; manage store operations and cleanliness.
• Relocation willingness as needed to support expansion.
• Plan and lead leadership team meetings with Assistant Managers and shift leads.

As the General Manager, you will lead and develop people to execute outstanding product quality and customer service, build sales and control costs for the restaurant. We are thrilled to bring aboard an individual that is both willing and eager to relocate as a key component and driving force in our successful expansion.

People

What you will bring to the role:

• Demonstrate and reinforce Marco's leadership behaviors and values.
• Create an environment that promotes the company culture and philosophies to attract, retain and develop our people.
• Source and interview all store employees to ensure they will embrace our values, including a strong dedication to customer satisfaction.
• Training team members on company processes, customer service, and updated policies and procedures to ensure we are a world class operation.
• Ensure all aspects of human resources are followed including scheduling, payroll, benefits, performance reviews and reporting to the home office as requested.
• Plan and coordinate leadership team meetings with Assistant Manager, Shift Leads, and Manager in Training.

Product

• Ensure standards are maintained for product quality, service speed and quality, cleanliness and sanitation.
• Ensure appropriate inventory par levels and ordering system are in place.
• Complete weekly inventory.
• Complete end of period inventory.

Management

• Ensure standards are maintained for product quality, service speed and quality, cleanliness and sanitation.
• Complete inventory reporting, ensure appropriate inventory par levels are met and ordering system is in place.
• Accountable for creating store Action Plans including marketing to continuously improve the business.
• Accountable for weekly KPIs and plan to achieve goals
• Ensure the store and exterior of the property are maintained.
• Ensure proper security and verification procedures are met when handling deposits and the contents of the safe.

Requirements

• 3 years of leadership experience, required
• 1 year of restaurant experience, preferred
• Ability to lead up to 20 team members
• Willing to work about 50 hours per week including some Saturdays and Sundays
