Big Dean's Hot Chicken was born out of award-winning chef Dean Dupuis's quest to create the perfect Nashville Hot style chicken. What started as a road trip in pursuit of the best flavors turned into a dedication to crafting a menu that balances hot, sweet, creamy, and crunchy in every bite.

Who Are We Looking For?

We are looking for an organized and goal-oriented Restaurant General Manager to oversee the operation of our newest location.

The General Manager is responsible for the daily running of the store. This can include but is not limited to: hiring staff, training staff, creating weekly staff schedules, preparing and cooking food, and engaging with guests.

To be successful as a Restaurant General Manager you should have excellent communication skills and a passion for customer service. A great Restaurant General Manager ensures that customers are satisfied while managing back of house priorities.

Restaurant General Manager Responsibilities:

  • Hiring and training staff.
  • Ordering ingredients and beverages.
  • Keeping records of income and expenses.
  • Talking to customers to receive feedback on their service.
  • Opening and closing the restaurant daily.
  • Motivating staff during busy shifts.
  • Ensuring that staff members are available for shifts.
  • Ensuring company procedures are being followed by staff.
  • Covering shifts.
  • Any miscellaneous duties that may arise in the operation of your store.

What We're Looking For:

  • 3+ years of restaurant leadership experience, with at least 2 years as a GM or equivalent
  • A hands-on leader with a culinary mindset. Comfortable managing a kitchen and working the line if needed
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and team-building skills
  • Proven ability to manage labor, inventory, and food costs effectively
  • Passion for hospitality, customer experience, and high standards

Restaurant General Manager Benefits:

Salary:

$50,000-$60,000 per year plus quarterly bonus.
