A leading restaurant group is seeking a Restaurant General Manager to enhance customer satisfaction and service quality across outlets. The role involves overseeing operations, managing team performance, and ensuring compliance with policies while meeting financial goals through strategic planning and effective communication.
The Restaurant General Manager plans and manages restaurant and other food and beverage outlets to achieve customer satisfaction, quality service, compliance with policies and regulations, and financial goals.
Responsibilities include managing the managerial team, resolving guest and associate issues, overseeing recognition and training programs, ensuring quality assurance, and managing budgets within forecasts.
Requires advanced knowledge of food and beverage management, strong communication and leadership skills, and proficiency in computer applications like Excel, Word, Project, and Visio. Must have a positive attitude, work ethic, and flexibility to work weekends and holidays.
Experience in a corporate setting preferred; college or trade school education is a plus.
Knowledge of wine and wine training is desirable.
