About the role:

The Four Seasons Hotel Philadelphia is seeking a Restaurant General Manager at Jean-Georges to join our Food & Beverage team. The Restaurant General Manager is responsible for developing and operating a cost-effective operation which exceeds guest expectations through the service of high quality food and beverages in a clean and comfortable atmosphere. The Restaurant General Manager has overall responsibility for all aspects of the restaurant; in particular, as related to sales, profit and the development of people.

What you bring:

The qualified candidate will possess a passion for flawless service and the highest level of integrity and work ethic.

  • We are seeking individuals with six years’ experience as a Restaurant General Manager in a high volume, high end establishment. Prior experience in various capacities in all positions in a restaurant preferred.
  • Strong business acumen
  • A proven track record for guest satisfaction
  • Proficiency in all aspects of fine dining service
  • Knowledge of food and beverage as well as accounting and administration tasks
  • Proficiency in all aspects of cost control
  • Strong knowledge of wine/beverage programs
  • Ability to handle all guest complaints in a timely manner
  • Strong team player skills promoting a team atmosphere through an effective management style
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and communication skills
  • Guest centricity and understanding the importance of guest’s preferences
