JOB Posting

JOB TITLE: Restaurant General Manger

DEPARTMENT: Management

REPORTS TO: Regional Director of Food and Beverage

Position Purpose

The General Manager is responsible for managing day to day operations of Food & Beverage operations. This is a hands-on position that includes oversight of all aspects of operations including cost of sales, customer experience and revenue growth. Must be able to be proactive in solving problems and identify new revenue opportunities evaluating risk/reward formula in decision making process.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Daily walkthrough providing feedback to various areas
• Menu development revision of menus as required
• Management of all financial reporting including but not limited to inventory, revenue and customer satisfaction
• Assist accounting with any follow up needed with daily operational items (cash drop variance, credit cards, accounts receivable, payroll, etc.)
• Provide assistance as needed with other F&B operations or projects within Suntex
  
  

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

• Proven work experience as an Restaurant Manager, general Manager, Hospitality Manager or similar role preferred
• Proficient in the following dimension of restaurant functions: food planning and preparation, purchasing, sanitation, security, company policies and procedures, personnel management, recordkeeping, and preparation of reports
• Familiarity with restaurant management software
• Must have flexible schedule to include working weekends and holidays during busy season
  
  

WORKING CONDITIONS/PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

• Must be able to independently lift, carry, push, and pull up to thirty (30) pounds
• Must be able to swim or be willing to wear a personal flotation device in instances of emergency
• Must be able to perform simple grasping, fine manipulation, and repetitive hand & arm movements frequently, and squeezing & overhead reaching occasionally
• Must be able to work flexible hours based on the needs of the property to include weekends and holidays as needed.
