Job Description: Taco Bell Restaurant General Manager

The Taco Bell Restaurant General Manager is the leader of the team who establishes the tone of the work environment and the level of customer hospitality. You are responsible for the operation of the entire restaurant and building a strong team that consistently provides customers with great food and a friendly experience.

1. Finding, hiring, and developing employees.
2. Conducting new hire orientation and developing training plans.
3. Scheduling and deploying the team effectively.
4. Addressing performance issues and resolving customer concerns.
5. Managing the restaurant budget and financial plans.

Job Requirements and Essential Functions

• High School Diploma or GED; college or university degree preferred.
• 2-4 years supervisory experience in food service or retail, including Profit and Loss responsibility.
• Basic personal computer literacy.
• Strong preference for internal promotion from Assistant General Manager position.
• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Must pass background check and drug test.
• Reliable transportation required.
• Basic business math, accounting, and analytical decision-making skills.
• Physical ability to sweep, mop, dust, lift, and carry trash containers.
• Ability to clean the parking lot and surrounding grounds.
• Ability to stand, walk, lift up to 50 lbs., and stoop during 80% of shift.
