Job summary

Taco Bell is seeking a Restaurant General Manager to lead the team, set the tone for guest hospitality, and oversee operations. You will hire and develop staff, conduct orientation, and craft training plans for each new hire.

You'll schedule the team, address performance issues, resolve customer concerns, and manage the restaurant budget and financial plans to drive success.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED, College or University Degree preferred.
• 2-4 years supervisory experience in food service or retail with P&L responsibility.
• Basic personal computer literacy.
• Strong preference for internal promotion from Assistant General Manager.
• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Must pass background check and drug test.
• Must have reliable transportation.
• Basic business math and accounting, plus strong analytical/decision-making skills.
• Able to sweep, mop, dust, and handle trash removal.
• Able to clean parking lot and surrounding grounds.
• Able to stand/walk, lift up to 50 lbs for 80% of shift.

Responsibilities

• Operate the entire restaurant daily to deliver great food and friendly service.
• Find, hire and develop employees and conduct new hire orientation.

The Taco Bell Restaurant General Manager is the leader of the TEAM who establishes the tone of the work environment, and the level of customer hospitality. Job Requirements and Essential Functions:

• Able to sweep and mop floors, dust shelves and lift and carry out trash containers and place in an outside bin
• Able to clean the parking lot and grounds surrounding the restaurant
• Able to tolerate standing, walking, lifting up to 50 lbs. and stooping during 80% of shift time
