Job summary

IHOP is seeking an Immediate Restaurant General Manager to lead a busy restaurant in Auburn, ME. You will drive guest service excellence, manage staff, and ensure compliance with IHOP SOPs.

Responsibilities include supervising recruitment, training, reports, and performance reviews while maintaining a positive work environment. You will work days, nights, and weekends with opportunities for advancement.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to speak, read, and write in English.
• Basic computer skills (Email, MS Excel, MS Word is a plus).

Responsibilities

• Execute guest service and human resource objectives according to IHOP SOP.
• Develop and maintain professional relationships with employees and franchisee organization.
• Manage restaurant floor, ensuring regular guest contact.
• Handle guest complaints professionally and promptly.
• Ensure compliance with SOP in recruitment, training, operations, food safety, and security practices.
• Supervise recruitment, training, workflow, performance appraisals, and conflict resolution.
• Complete required reports and paperwork accurately and on time.
• Maintain personnel files with necessary documents.
• Available to work days, nights, and weekends.
