Job summary

Boqueria Restaurant Group in New York City is seeking a Front of House Manager to be the right hand to the General Manager and deliver exceptional guest experiences. You will lead the floor, mentor staff, and ensure smooth daily operations while upholding safety and service standards.

You will drive service excellence, manage financial implications of decisions, and foster a positive culture with a hands-on, energetic approach.

Qualifications

• Strong hospitality leadership and guest service focus.
• Experience with restaurant tech and POS systems.
• Certified Food Handler with NY health requirements.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and Excel.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Energetic, positive, and able to manage multiple priorities.

This position is perfect for you if you have a dynamic floor presence, excellent leadership skills, meticulous attention to detail, and a genuine interest in others. As a Front of House Manager at Boqueria, you will be the right hand to our General Manager, providing guests with the best possible experience and creating a positive work culture by personally exemplifying our core values. You will also be responsible for assisting the General Manager to ensure that the restaurant meets or exceeds its financial targets and overseeing the restaurant's preparedness for daily service and DOH inspection readiness.

What We're Looking For

• Desire and motivation to work with a lot of energy and positivity
• Excellent food and beverage knowledge
• Sufficiently technically savvy to become proficient with key systems and IT infrastructure (OpenTable, Toast, Restaurant 365, Dolce)
• Food Handler's Certification from the Department of Health
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and Excel
• Ability to organize, prioritize, and plan ahead
• Understand and support managing financial implications of operational decisions
• A good sense of humor
• Must be at least 18 years old
