Ralph's American Grill in Wilmington, OH is seeking a Food Runner to support our operations. Ideal candidates have excellent customer service and leadership skills, desire to provide a great experience for our guests, and are at least 18 years of age or older. Open Week and Weekend availability is a must.

Job Description

To serve food to all guests in a prompt, courteous, efficient, and enthusiastic manner according to the policies set forth in the handbook and manuals, taking full responsibility for each guest’s complete satisfaction.

Primary Responsibilities

• Convey genuine interest in guest satisfaction.
• Maintain high standards of personal hygiene and grooming, explicitly following the uniform code as outlined in the Associate Handbook.
• Follow hospitality standards as outlined by the company with enthusiasm.
• Have a working knowledge of all food and beverages served in the restaurant.
• Read service standards and all associate bulletin boards daily; stay updated on procedures concerning charges, coupons, checks, promotions, and discounts.
• Help maintain the cleanliness and appearance of the restaurant.
• Deliver food from the kitchen to guests' tables.
• Participate in controlling costs and minimizing waste.
• Perform opening, running, and closing duties as assigned by the manager on duty.
• Assist wherever possible beyond normal duties.
• Show acts of kindness towards guests and colleagues.
• Share knowledge, ideas, successes, and failures for the store’s growth.
• Greet and seat guests, bus tables, and assist fellow associates.
• Attend to guests' needs and address any dissatisfaction.
• Welcome passing guests.
• Support other servers during busy times with side work and drinks.
• Be courteous and appreciative to fellow staff.
• Contribute creative ideas and talents.
