Located between Miami and Ft. Lauderdale this hotel is an iconic beachfront destination. With 1000 guestrooms, 209,000 square feet of meeting space and 6 dining opportunities including the Diplomat Prime – South Florida’s Award-Winning Boutique Steakhouse.

Our ideal candidate should have 2 years of experience in selling and/or coordinating events for restaurants or venues.

Shift Pattern: The position typically follows a Monday through Friday schedule from 8:00am – 5:00pm. However, full availability including weekends and holidays - is required based on the hotel’s business needs and occupancy levels.

Pay Rate: $20.00 per hour and commission.

What will I be doing?:

· Solicit and respond to companies, organizations, and individuals regarding private event inquiries at the hotel and restaurants

· Coordinate all aspects of private events to ensure prompt, courteous, and efficient service

· Work closely with internal departments to fulfill event requirements and exceed guest expectations

· Ensure events are executed smoothly to satisfy customer needs and enhance the guest experience

· Maximize hotel revenue and profitability through effective event planning and upselling opportunities
