Job summary

Perkins Restaurant & Bakery is seeking a dedicated dishwasher to support the dish room and kitchen operations. You will wash, pre-rinse, load and unload, stock, and assist kitchen staff while following sanitation standards to ensure a clean and efficient environment.

This role requires physical stamina, the ability to lift up to 50 pounds, and flexibility to work evenings and weekends in a fast-paced setting.

Qualifications

• Extensive standing and walking for up to 8 hours.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to work irregular hours, including evenings and weekends.
• Knowledge of basic sanitation and safety practices can be taught in-house.

Responsibilities

• Dish room maintenance and upkeep of kitchen areas.
• Pre-rinses, loads and unloads dishwasher, and ensures items are clean and stocked.
• Assists kitchen staff and maintains orderly, sanitary workstations.
• Breaks down boxes and removes trash and recyclables.
• Picks up and maintains cleanliness of dining and kitchen areas.
• Communicates issues to the Kitchen Manager on duty and supports team.
