About The Role

At Wonder, we want to make world-class food within reach, no matter where you live. As a Line Cook, you are a key part of that by creating delicious food for our customers, while working with various cuisines from menus created by our famous Michelin-starred and Celebrity Chefs.

Role Details

• Pay Rate: $18
• Job Location: 14th Street NW

Responsibilities

• Cook food items according to recipes and Wonder standards
• Assist in maintaining and setting up kitchen stations
• Keep the kitchen neat, clean, and orderly
• Ensure proper food labeling and storage, following Food Safety and HACCP guidelines
• Perform inventory checks and logging, ensuring accuracy by scanning items in and out
• Monitor and ensure food is within temperature standards
• Operate efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• At least 6 months of kitchen experience in a quick service restaurant or similar setting
• Accuracy and speed in executing tasks
• Follow directions and instructions promptly and accurately
• Effective verbal communication skills
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
• Strong team player
• Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices

Requirements

• Must be 18 years old and legally authorized to work in the US
• Must be able to lift 50 pounds
• Must be able to stand for a full shift
• Weekend availability required
