Job description

Travel Cook Position

We are seeking experienced cooks for a 100% travel task force. This position offers $20.00 per hour plus overtime, with travel expenses and one to two meals provided daily. The role involves 6-week rotation travel schedules.

Cook Job Duties:
  1. Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and quality standards.
  2. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations.
  3. Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines to maintain a clean and safe environment.
  4. Assist with catering events and special functions as needed.
  5. Maintain inventory of food supplies and equipment.
  6. Set up, stock, and break down assigned stations.

Additional responsibilities include:

  • Using knowledge of allergies and dietary restrictions to ensure guest safety.
  • Observing food storage times and temperatures to prevent waste.
  • Completing daily, weekly, and monthly cleaning tasks.
  • Executing safe knife handling and proper use of kitchen equipment.
Additional Requirements:
  • Ability to travel out of state for 8 weeks at a time.
