El Super is seeking a Restaurant Clerk at the Pico Rivera location to support food prep and customer service. The role involves preparing grilled and hot items per company standards and keeping the dining area clean and welcoming for guests.

Candidates should be able to work nights and weekends and possess a Food Handler Card or equivalent certification. The position is part of the El Super Store Operations team within Chedraui USA.

Candidates should possess the ability to:

• Read and comprehend simple instructions, product labels, product pricingcodes, shelf tags, short correspondence, and memos.
• Effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations tocustomers, clients, and other employees of the organization.

• Regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 45 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move up to 60 pounds.

The Opportunity

The Restaurant Clerk position is one of the key contact points for our customers service experience and will Assist with the preparation of grilled and hot food items, following precise company standards for preparation and presentation and maintaining a clean and inviting restaurant.

Must be able to work a variety of hours including nights and weekends.

Food Handler Card or its equivalent certification is required for all positions related to: preparation, handling and serving food.
